Jenna’s parents are here visiting, yayy! It was so nice to see some friendly faces from home; I was starting to feel very detached.
They arrived on Saturday evening and we ordered a very delicious take-away dinner of Thai, mmm curry. They stayed over at our flat that night, and checked into their hotel the next afternoon. I haven’t seen their suite yet, but apparently it’s very swanky and Jenna and I have plans to utilize the hot tub and pool area as much as we can... I’m sorry, am I making all you cold Canadians jealous? How are the snow drifts doing back home? (Can you hear me laughing at your expense?)
The next day we walked around and showed the parentals some of the sights. Jenna did most of the showing because unfortunately my foot is acting up again; I couldn’t do much. I’m actually considering going to see a doctor about it. I’m really starting to get frustrated. But anyways, that night we had a marvellous dinner at Biblos of Salmon and more curry after which Jenna and her parents headed off to bed (and I stopped at the hostel to watch a movie with the peeps.)
Today is a rainy depressing day, so I think Jenn, Zeev and Alan are coming over to watch a movie. Stay warm my loves! Miss you.
